The City House of Culture, in an environment with specific traditional architecture, was created with due respect for the overall inherited environment. That is why in the composition the contours of the landscape made up of restless mountain peaks, compatible with the pyramidal roofs of the Dinaric houses and residential towers of Plav, can be recognized. The agglomeration of roofs on the slopes next to Lake Plav directly influenced the composition of this building, so that with the spirit of the times, the appreciation of the inherited vocabulary, which was created in response to the climate and natural environment, continued. Despite its larger dimensions, with its sparse form, the building respected the scale of the existing urban structure. The building received an award from the Borba newspaper for the best architectural work realized in Montenegro in 1990.
