The goal was to create a “house” that belongs to the local spirit of construction, and legible to the universal understanding of architectural values. The local, traditional house is an introverted mono volume that emerged from a dialogue with the climatic characteristics of this region. The envelope of the traditional volume consists of a wall and sheds. The stone wall gives a recognizable structure of shallow shadows, while the sheds conduct a constant dialogue with the daily movement of the sun and inform passers-by that the host is there.
