The family residence is located in Muniba Kučević Street in Bijelo Polje. The specificity of this street is that in its axis is the church of St. Peter from the 12th century. The two towers of the church suggest a rectangular shape that served as an important moment in the design of the front facade of this house. The house is conceived as a simple form, but still a specific composition that “fights” for light and view because it is located in a dense urban fabric. The attempt to visually integrate the existing green fund into the living room and bedroom gave a formal answer with the slope of the terrace, which is an essential architectural expression. The object shows the same relationship to the context from the back. The terrace on the entrance side is framed by a “frame” that defines the autonomy of the space and becomes an important design element that gives character to the entire building. The house tends not to burden, but certainly defines the surrounding space.
